Congratulations to the winners of the Camelot Spelling Bee held on Feb. 19, 2009.

Samantha will represent Camelot in the Fairfax County Bee on March 21 at Hayfield Secondary School at 2:00pm. The County Bee is open to the public.
First Annual Camelot Spelling Bee
We are pleased to announce the first annual Spelling Bee at Camelot Elementary. Students in grades 4-6 will participate in the Bee.The Spelling Bee consists of two stages. The first stage is the written classroom test which will be held in classrooms on Jan.30. The second stage will be the oral finals. The top five students from each grade on the classroom bee will then compete in the school finals on Feb. 19.
The top student from the School-wide Camelot Bee will then be able to compete in the Fairfax County Bee which will be held in March. The winner of the county bee will be eligible for the National Scripps Spelling Bee in Washington DC to be held in May. Every Camelot spelling finalist will receive a ribbon and the top three finishers will receive trophies.
